I think children are natural philosophers and we ought to encourage them to think critically and learn how to ask the right questions. Discovering their sense of agency will ultimately allow children to develop into the good people we need in society.
Jason is a 4th year student at Capilano University in the Liberal Studies program. He has been a student of Dr. Susan Gardner for many of her classes and wishes to expand his knowledge of philosophy. He has extensive working experience in after-school drop-in programs for both the Boys & Girls Club, and the Burnaby Neighbourhood House. After graduation, he will be looking for teaching opportunities in his native country, China. In his spare time, Jason enjoys photography, art, hiking, and reading.
