Misha Arthur is a writer, poet, tutor, and student at the University of the Fraser Valley, where he studies Philosophy and English Literature. For as long as he can remember, he has been drawn to literature and the arts as a source of joy and wisdom; because of this, he is lucky enough to count Gandalf, Frodo, Encyclopedia Brown and Sherlock Holmes among his many childhood friends. Besides imagination and critical thinking, he is passionate about honest, open conversation; particularly when the going gets tough. His time on campus, as well as his modest volunteer commitments have taught him a lot about the value of community, and a little about the way our conception of self interferes with our own self-interest.
