Bianca is completing a BA at UBC with a combined major in Philosophy and Political Science, and a minor in Biology. She studied at Capilano University for one year prior to her studies at UBC, where she was first introduced to philosophy and discovered a particular passion for critical thinking. She believes it is an important for skill for young thinkers.
She is the Vice President of the UBC Equestrian team, and has been involved in a variety of volunteer and philanthropic endeavors, especially to do with environmental sustainability, and international children’s healthcare.
For the past eight years she has worked in childcare alongside her studies. She is eager to bring her acquired skills in studying philosophy together with her work experience with children in joining the Philosophy for Children team.
Her non-academic interests include, training in equestrian with her horse Gerry, hiking with her dogs, reading, writing, and playing the harp.
She is looking to pursue post-graduate studies in law.
