Innovation and creation are part of what make childhood a special journey. Children are amazing at vividly engaging in hypothetical worlds only accessible to the imagination. In Mindcrafters, we take children on a journey into worlds of robots who can obey us (but should they?), Lego empires that get us thinking about rules, fairness, and privilege, and crafts and constructions that challenge how we normally think things should be. This week is packed-full of engaging activities designed to inspire their ideas, thoughts, and perceptions of the real world waiting outside their doors. They will be so much fun going on that they may not notice the strong focus on enhancing their reasoning skills in the process. Campers will come away from Mindcrafters with a vision of a world they’ll never forget!
Mindcrafters is for children in grades 1-3 (ages 6, 7, 8 as of Dec. 31)
This camp will take place during the week of July 13 – 17, 2015.
